Health & Safety.
Vanguard Contracts work in strict accordance and under the guidelines of the Construction Design and Management Regulations. As a company we are committed to implement and maintain high standards of all aspects of the Health and Safety of our employees, contractors, visitors and members of the public during our work activities.
When appointed as Principal Contractor we will in line with the current regulations...

- Plan, manage and monitor the construction phase in liaison with Client.
- Provide full notification of a contract to the Health & Safety Executive.
- Prepare, develop and implement a full construction phase Health & Safety file.
- Check competence of all those appointed.
- Ensure all workers are site inducted and receive information and training as necessary.
- Liaise with CDM Co-ordinator regarding ongoing design.
- Prepare full operation and maintenance manuals on completion of the contract.
Site Management.
In line with the current Health & Safety requirements and CDM Regulations, Vanguard Contracts provide a full site management service for our Clients. Our Site Managers are all fully qualified and trained and are responsible for relaying any site specific information onto all operatives on site at the initial site induction and during the construction phase works.
Our on site Health and Safety construction phase file is prepared for the construction phase of our works and is developed throughout the duration of the Contract. The file incorporates all relevant method statements and risk assessments, as well as all required inspections and monitoring of site conditions in line with current regulations. |
