Datong Electronics Case Study
First established in 1974, Datong swiftly built up a reputation for quality and reliability within the design and manufacture of a range of advanced surveillance products to meet many law enforcement requirements.
Due to their phenomenal growth they had outlived their existing premises and therefore required larger purpose built offices, cleanroom assembly and warehousing.
Vanguard Contracts was chosen as Main Contractor to take full responsibility of the whole project in conjunction with Datong's project team. The contract included a full refurbishment of two large existing factory units in Leeds, including the upgrading of the existing offices, providing a new cleanroom assembly facility and extensive external alterations.
