Multiyork Furniture Case Study
Multiyork Furniture is a major UK designer and manufacturer of exclusive sofas, cabinets, furniture and accessories.
Vanguard Contracts was awarded with the total refurbishment of the St. Albans store, as it was crucial the construction and building were designed to subtley enhance and complement the stylish furniture and store image whilst also providing a practical showroom environment.
Vanguard took responsibility for the formation of a new timber shop front to the whole of the front elevation and the introduction of a feature staircase within an existing timber mezzanine floor. This was created to contribute to the existing modern interior of the store and involved intricate structural steelwork alterations.
Additionally, Vanguard erected all partitioning and dry linings and incorporated fire protection where required. All mechanical and electrical works, as well as HVAC works were incorporated as part of the 'turnkey package'.
Vanguard implemented all store lighting and decorations with the objective to emphasize space yet also arouse a mood of serenity and comfortable living to reflect the high specification bespoke furniture.
The contract was a smooth and successful operation, achieving all of the project's goals within the agreed six week programme period.
