To design baseplates correctly we need to know the thickness
of the concrete, details of reinforcement, thickness and type
of hardcore and the loading capacity of the subsoil. We have
allowed for 300 x 300mm baseplates as a maximum size to give
stability to the structure only. However further investigation
may necessitate larger baseplates and will increase the cost.
The maximum deflection of the structural sections is calculated
not to exceed span/200 for storage and 360 for offices.
